There are fears Filippo Inzaghi will not play for Milan when they travel to Genoa on Sunday after he picked up an injury during the friendly game against Lugano this evening.The prolific hit-man had to limp off just minutes into the match in Switzerland and Il Corriere Dello Sport claims Inzaghi has strained an adductor muscle in his right leg.
It’s not good news for the Rossoneri. This game was organised to give those players recovering from injury a run out before Serie A restarts this weekend.
Alexandre Pato is now the only fit striker available to Ancelotti for the match in Genoa on Sunday.
Meanwhile there was some good news for the San Siro based club as Kaka has started the game against Lugano following his return from injury.
The Brazilian had suffered from some ligament damage but he has now made a full recovery following an operation on his knee.
He is likely to feature for the Rossoneri at the weekend.
